Kajagoogoo's light synth pop and pretty, photogenic look made the group an instant sensation in the early days of MTV. Nick Beggs with his sensational hair made him a bass guitar star, he later took over lead singer duties when original front man Limahl quit.

Kajagoogoo's most famous song was Too Shy, which reached number one in the UK singles chart in 1983.
