Mark Schultz. The original oil painting was commissioned by the publisher Wandering Star for the first of three Conan volumes in their series of deluxe books The Robert E Howard Library of Classics. This painting is reproduced on page 271 of The Complete Conan of Cimmeria Volume 1 (1932 - 1933), and is captioned 'And Conan's savage nature responded with all the fury of the wild'. This is a limited edition giclee print of 100 signed and numbered copies world wide. It has been produced directly from the original art using the highest quality professional scans and replicates the colours and textures of the original painting to the most exacting standards. Printed on Hahnemuhle Photorag 100% cotton, white, smooth coated 308 paper stock, using 7 vibrant colours and enhanced greyscales. Lightfast to 75+ years. 22" x 30" (56cm x 76cm)
